“I was involved in the sale of a property to a buyer who pulled out of the property transaction, citing misrepresentation of the property details.  The buyer then proceeded to bring a court action against me as a result.  The amount claimed was less than £10,000 in value, so I didn’t want to engage a solicitor directly due to costs but, equally, I needed both advice on the claimant's prospects of success as well as representation at the court hearing. I therefore contacted Iqbal to secure his services directly and was provided with a clear quotation for the costs of engaging his services, which I was happy to accept.  Following his detailed review of the papers, we had a telephone conference in order to go through the issues in hand and the potential risks of taking the matter to a court hearing.
